varsity team coaches

 This is Frank's eighth year coaching in the West Islip program.  He has coached travel hockey for years with the Arrows and Nassau County.  Frank has played NCAA D2 Hockey and still plays today in the men’s league.  Every year he plays in the World Pond Hockey Championship.

Coach Kyle is entering his third season as a coach for West Islip Hockey Club. Prior to coaching, Kyle played 10 years of travel hockey on Long Island as well as six years for the West Islip organization. He captained the Varsity team to a county championship in 2015. He continues to play as part of the Long Island Men's league. 

 John played hockey starting at a young age and followed through high school playing for St. John the Baptist and even still playing to this day.  He has been coaching his son’s roller and ice hockey teams as well. John holds a level 4 USA coach.

During his youth Greg played high school hockey from the 7th grade and was the assistant captain on the varsity team.  He continued to play through his adulthood.  As his two children joined hockey he was the assistant coach for many recreation league teams.  Greg comes to us from being the assistant coach for the Royals 2010 A Team in the 2020-2021 season.  He has completed the level 4 USA Hockey coaching program.
